Resource Of The Day 3/4/14

 Howard Rheingold would be my primary resource today because when it comes to journalism, this man definitely knows what he's doing. Rheingold is a writer, critical thinker and a teacher so basically he knows how to find a balance with "doing it all". [His specialty however falls under the lines of being a cultural, social and political implication of modern communication media...] used today. This man has done a lot in society from writing certain books to teaching what he knows at the University of Stanford. I wasn't able to read the whole article however the certain material I came across happened to be a little interview Howard was involved in. He basically said that ever since he got involved with technology, he has been engulfed in it ever since for he wants to work out these little bugs here and there in order to make open source learning and other related issues better known... 

3/3/14 Absent Resource Of The Day

  This is my resource for today. It's interesting because this article basically talks about working with technology along with psychology based fields. Surprisingly, we have come far enough in technology to actually hold therapy sessions, counseling,etc. online via through trusted therapeutic based sights, blogs such as this one and other online related matter. A little history involving engineering psychology is that it's a nice field of study because there are options when it comes to this line of work such as working with humans, different environments, privately owned businesses and government based industries that need instant help.
 
  Some engineering psychologist help build certain parts to planes which obviously even helps humans out because people need to be places at certain times and what not. To be able to help someone over phone,text, video call,etc. is extremely valuable in our world today because to be able to have an instant gratification when it really matters because a life is at state says a lot about America today.
 
   I read up on this article and found it extremely helpful because this article carried much insight as to what to exactly these psychologist do for a living and where they are needed in our world. When it comes down to very drastic measures, these psychologist can be extremely helpful when it comes down to finding out what products are best to use and or how to help a human efficiently without a hassle.

  After reading this article explaining the principles of journalism, I now understand that you cannot slapdash your way through the truth. What I mean by this when I say it is that when you are a journalist, you are writing for the truth and nothing but the truth on factual life events and other things that carry evidence in regards to your findings. As a journalist, some may think you are capable of writing ANYTHING you want however to a certain extent this isn't always the case.

  If you go to the original site you can see that all of these journalists have some subject of studies on common and others such as Christina Paschyn are international journalist that travel majority of the time to write about different things going on in our world today.    

My Team post 2/26/14

  Today everyone was able to go around to different groups and see what one another was working on and what their ideal goals were,etc. Based on my own findings, I was able to come up with the conclusion that many of my peers all have a variety of fields they would like to study. In particular, those that I gravitated towards the most happened to be those that were studying the subjects of journalism, helping other people and art/music based careers. It was nice to talk to some students that were into engineering and architecture however these aren't fields of study that I could really relate to interest wise.

   I would say that if I was able to continue on collaborating with the other students that were in my range of interest, then we would be able to come up and or help each other out and come up with something pretty magnificent. The one person that I feel would make a great network team member would be Sierra Ramirez because her interest happens to be with taking care of people, helping and just that kind of work. I can relate to this because my intended career NOW is journalism so for every student including Sierra, I would possibly be able to collaborate with them in the sense that I would be able to possibly do a review for them and or write for them if they needed it for this is my strong point. 

Career Path Update 2/25/14

Instead of Human computer interactions, I decided to change my field of study to just general writing. Possibly journalism because I enjoy writing about things that are for others in the sense that I would possibly be writing for their company, a magazine and so forth...
