Hacking: use a computer to gain unauthorized access to data in a system.

Jail breaking: Users commonly jailbreak their iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads to get around the limitations imposed by the wireless carriers

Linking: onnecting or joining something to something else.

cyber physical systems (CPS): A cyber-physical system is a system of collaborating computational elements controlling physical entities

cloud storage: Cloud storage is a model of networked enterprise storage where data is stored in virtualized pools of storage which are generally hosted by third parties. Hosting companies operate large data centers, and people who require their data to be hosted buy or lease storage capacity from them

industrial internet: The Industrial Internet is a term coined by GE and refers to the integration of complex physical machinery with networked sensors and software.

advanced manufacturing: Advanced manufacturing is the use of innovative technology to improve products or processes.

big data: Big data is the term for a collection of data sets so large and complex that it becomes difficult to process using on-hand database management tools or traditional data processing applications

cyber security: Computer security is information security as applied to computers and networks. The field covers all the processes and mechanisms by which computer-based equipment, information and services are protected from unintended or unauthorized access, change or destruction

agile development methods: gile software development is a group of software development methods based on iterative and incremental development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams.

augmented reality: a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.

massive open online course: A massive open online course is an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web.
